FAQs

I only provide overnight pet sitting, which means I spend the night and either the majority of the day or the entire day with the pet. I don't provide drop-in visits, grooming or boarding. 

I do carry liability insurance that covers my business activities when I provide pet sitting services. I will show you proof of insurance during the Meet & Greet. 

I have had a complete background check performed and will show you a copy during the Meet & Greet.

I require half of the sitting fee be paid at booking and the remaining half to be paid 14 days prior to the sit. 

I do require to see proof of up to date rabies vaccination for all pets during the Meet & Greet. 

I cannot take any dogs I’m sitting to an off-leash dog park, nor can I let them off of their leash at anytime, except when they are in their home or their own fenced yard. This is for their own safety and insurance purposes. 

I don’t have any breed restrictions for pets that I sit. 

I do consider pet sitting dogs and cats with behavior issues. We can discuss this on our call. 

I do consider pet sitting pets with bite histories. I understand there can be extenuating circumstances and just because an animal has bitten a human or another animal, doesn’t make them a “bad” dog or cat. We can discuss any bite histories.
